    Working as part of our ESD water framework, we are now looking for an Operations Manager to join our team to be based out of Inverness.

    Role Overview :

    The role of the Operations Manager is to manage a team of Project Managers and deliver a sub-programme of work within the SR Framework as well as to support the leadership team in the implementation of strategies and action plan’s to ensure the successful delivery of the framework.

    In addition the Operations Manager has the responsibility to manage. supervise, train and develop a team of direct reports.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Maintain good client relationships at all levels

    Maintain and enhance ESD’s reputation at all levels

    Ensuring that the BMS is implemented at all stages of the delivery process

    Ensuring, in conjunction with the Design Manager adequate controls are in place

    Ensuring that sufficient competent resources are deployed on projects

    Ensuring projects have adequate controls in place and are implemented

    Ensuring that all site non-conformities are reported and resolved

    Ensure all commercial aspects of the project are managed proactively and controls are in place way

    Undertake such other duties, training and / or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role

    Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality

    Ability to resolve complex problems

    Proficient computer and IT skills

    Experience and Qualifications :

    Experience of the construction / engineering Industry is essential

    Experience in M&E and civil engineering contracting in a design and build environment

    Track record of delivering projects within agreed parameters

    Minimum HND in engineering / project management related qualification or equivalent

    Project management experience

    IOSH or SMSTS safety management

    Excellent I.T. skills

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
