What you’ll be doingSupport Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS, by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestonesSupervise the children throughout the day, ensuring their safetyWork as part of a larger team, to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands i.

  • e. hygiene standards and room preparationPromote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all timesWork with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day-to-day basisWhat we can offer youOur benefits include, but are not limited to;

    Access to our extensive library of training and qualifications, to support your continuous developmentWhat we’re looking forFull and Relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualificationPrevious experience working with children (Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar)Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each childAbility to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adultsSound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of childrenAbility to be flexible and adaptable embracing working cultures in different nurseriesHave a flexible approach to working hours, supporting nurseries within a pre-agreed radius of your home addressThis role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check
