The Day to Day Duties :

To represent the Company in delivering field based customer service and product repair, you will have excellent communication and customer care skills and have good electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge.

On joining Hoover Candy all our Field Service Engineers complete 5 weeks of training in our residential training school this will ensure you are familiar with anything you may come across in the field.

Once you have completed your training, you will be based from home and attend a number of calls each day in customers’ homes.

  • You will be responsible for identifying and diagnosing repairs on a wide range of white goods and domestic appliances manufactured by the Hoocer Candy Group;
  • aiming for a first time fix whilst delivering excellent customer service.

    Qualifications and Skills

    To be a successful Field Service Engineer, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a positive outlook who takes pride in their work and holds the necessary skills and experience.

  • Previous experience as a White Goods / Domestic Appliance Engineer is a distinct advantage
  • Experience to effectively diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Good understanding of Electric and Electronic principles and ability to use in practice
  • Valid driving licence
  • Computer literate.
  • Friendly customer attitude and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Desire to learn and achieve more skills
  • Experience as a refrigeration engineer will be a strong advantage
