That’s $160B in sales, mostly from Small and Medium sized businesses. Our Amazon Global Selling (AGS) team enables customers around the world to get access to millions of new products from European Selling Partners.

We work with these Selling Partners to list their products on Amazon.com and other international sites (such as Amazon Australia).

We support our Selling Partners in marketing their products and choosing the most effective fulfillment solution to enable fast delivery for end customers.

It is a critical and high-visibility initiative that supports our vision of enabling Customers around the globe to have access to the best selection at the best prices.

AGS is now looking for a Senior Program Manager to own and manage strategic, cross-functional projects that support our global selling vision for European Selling Partners.

This high-visibility role will require working with business and product teams across the company and around the world to define, prioritize and deliver key enhancements to our Selling Partner solutions for global selling.

The Senior Program Manager will work closely with our business teams and directly with Selling Partners to understand Selling Partner feedback and feed this into our product development teams.

They will also analyse the performance of our European AGS business to identify opportunities for further growth and translate these into initiatives that they will implement with business teams and product teams.

Successful candidates will have tremendous bias for action, have excellent problem solving abilities and the creativity to spot and action new opportunities.

They will need to prioritizes effectively across multiple areas and communicate clearly at all levels. They will have a proven track record of building successful partnerships and delivering initiatives in a matrixed organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Define, scope and partner with others to deliver key strategic initiatives for cross-border selling
  • Manage the entire programme life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution by working closely with operations, logistics and other key stakeholders in the company
  • Balance Think Big and Bias for Action to plan for the future beyond current deliverables
  • Identify dependencies and drive towards solutions with dependent teams
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and balance business needs versus technical constraints to move these projects forward quickly
  • Communicate with senior management and other business / technical partners on programme decisions, status and risks
  • MBA or a Masters degree
  • Experience in e-commerce industry
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Intermediate Excel skills required to build extensive data driven business models
