The Haematology and Oncology outpatients unit supports various haematology and oncology clinics ensuring a smooth patient pathway.
The Macmillan information centre and citizens advice bureau is based on the unit. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic nurse to support the Matron to monitor the safety and quality of care for patients attending clinic.
The successful candidate will be expected to be responsible for the day-to-day management of the oncology clinic, carrying out Holistic Needs Assessments in clinic setting as required and working closely with the chemotherapy units on site and in Finchley Memorial Hospital.
They will be working in conjunction with the Macmillan Information Officer to develop a programme of outpatient events to improve the patient experience.
