We’re building an amazing team in and we’re looking for an ambitious and purpose-driven Portfolio Assistant to jump on board.

Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management the Portfolio Assistant will play a key role in keeping the digital team in sync.

Coordinating diaries, following up actions and ensuring reports are submitted in line with committee schedules will help keep the flow of information on track across the team.

Our recently appointed CTO, Mark Akerman is leading, and already implementing, the company's new technology strategy which will help us achieve our ambitious growth plans.

Mark is an exceptional talent in the Financial Services industry.

Mark is now looking for a very experienced Portfolio Assistant to join our Change team.

What you will be working on :

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following :

  • Manage & co-ordinate busy diaries & be able to resolve clashes swiftly & troubleshoot or escalate, as appropriate
  • Oversee due dates for actions arising from meetings
  • Attend meetings & take minutes & actions, when necessary
  • Support with e-mail management, where necessary
  • Assist with the production of documents & presentations & provide support with projects, when required
  • Communicate professionally both internal & externally with key stakeholders
  • Operate a continuous improvement mindset with identifying opportunities, making recommendations & executing improvements to systems & processes
  • Support the PMO delivery team with tasks as and when required.
  • Co-ordinate arrangements for internal & external meetings (accommodation, itineraries, catering, travel)
  • What we're looking for :

    The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience skills and behaviours :

    Essential :

  • Strong PA experience to a senior team of Directors
  • Highly organised & systematic
  • Efficient & attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management & organisation skills, with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
  • Desirable :

  • Previous exposure to or knowledge of the Financial Services or Fintech industry, experience in a transformation environment would be particularly beneficial
  • Experience working in a regulated industry or environment
