Internal Communications Partner, Data & Analytics (Fixed-term contract, 12 months)

12-month fixed-term contract

As an Internal Communications Partner in Data & Analytics, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and continually improving D&A’s approach to internal communications & engagement.

Your goal will be to drive greater understanding, amongst our 400+ D&A colleagues and the wider Society, of what D&A is working to achieve and how we’re doing this.

We want everyone, from our team members to the Board, to see the good work that we do, and we want to be open when things don’t quite go according to plan so that we can all learn.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting into the D&A Operational Excellence Director, you’ll develop innovative communications using existing D&A communication channels, as well as working with internal communication colleagues across the Society to develop new ones.

You will successfully execute D&A communication and engagement plans at a community and Society-wide level.

You’ll do this by :

  • Creating and owning the D&A stakeholder Communication & Engagement Strategy
  • Producing compelling content and ensuring consistency of messaging across all audiences and channels
  • Collaborating with D&A leaders to help shape positive perceptions of D&A through simple and transparent communications
  • Measuring, tracking, and creating solutions to measure stakeholder and colleague engagement and satisfaction. Providing insights through voice of the community’ and voice of the stakeholder’ lenses
  • Innovating using existing tools and channels and creating new ways to create community and stakeholder dialogue
  • Building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders and peers across multiple business areas, to ensure D&A is represented and impacts are understood.
  • About you

    A strong influencer and resilient individual, you’ll work directly with leaders across D&A and the Society. You’ll use your expertise to deliver creative and high impact communications to support D&A’s objectives, achieving the right levels of cut through and engagement.

    You’ll work well both individually and as part of a group, helping to create a dynamic and a high-performance environment by working collaboratively with communications colleagues from across the Society.

    As a minimum requirement, we are looking for someone who has the following skills :

  • Experience of working at a senior level in internal communications
  • Experience in stakeholder management and delivering broad culture change programmes
  • Able to take complex messages and translate them for a range of audiences
  • Flexible, able to think on their feet and respond to changing situations
  • Have a proven track record in delivering high-impact, multi-channel communications within tight timeframes
  • Have experience in tech or a strong desire to learn about what we do in D&A and how our solutions work and benefit the Society
  • Good interpersonal skills and the credibility to advise senior leaders
  • Sound business acumen, good organisational awareness and strategic approach to problem solving
  • Ability to build constructive and collaborative working relationships
  • Be educated to graduate level or equivalent
