Salary : £25,114- £26,895 per annum
An additional £10,000 recruitment and retention allowance has been added to this position.

You will deliver electrical works to a high standard, supporting Property Services on all College property and provide professional advice when required, as a subject matter expert.
You will manage the testing of electrical portable appliance and equipment, fixed wire testing and the testing of Emergency Lighting Systems.
You are required to have a City and Guilds electrical installation part 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent, a City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and testing and 19th edition IEE wiring regulations.
You must also have a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A C / 9-4) or be willing to obtain. You must have extensive experience in the electrical trade including a good understanding and knowledge of up to date legislation relating to the building industry including Health and Safety.
You must have experience of delivering high quality work under the restriction of tight deadlines. You will also need knowledge of related tools, electrical techniques, equipment and materials, skill in the installation, alteration, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and experience of working within a customer focused environment.
