What will you be doing?

  • Creating UI and visual designs and interactions for products, across a range of platforms
  • You will be responsible for screen designs, prototypes, customer journey maps, high fidelity assets and detailed specifications
  • Working with brand and design guidelines; and use and contribute to design systems
  • Helping ensure designs meet accessibility standards and outputs adhere to all relevant policies and standards e.g. channel, brand, design language
  • You will ensure knowledge of current patterns, best practices, and trends are kept up-to-date, in order to deliver fresh, relevant and industry leading designs
  • Working as part of a team to understand customer needs, business objectives and outcomes, and contribute to the proposition and wider user experience
  • Undertaking training and knowledge sharing activities with team members and wider stakeholders
  • You will work with multiple stakeholders from various backgrounds
  • What we’re looking for :

  • A degree in a visual or design based subject eg design, multimedia or equivalent experience in a related field and demonstrable experience designing for web and mobile
  • Knowledge of visual-based design principles for digital, with an understanding and skills across colour, typography, branding, layout and visualisation
  • Proficiency with industry tools such as Sketch, Adobe and Principle to effectively deliver high quality design solutions
  • You can understand the customer experience, and translate this into impactful and appropriate high-fidelity designs for digital products
  • Skills that will help you in the role :

  • Experience in any of these areas : designing accessible and inclusive interfaces; native app design; motion design and animation techniques; creation of design systems
  • Understanding of project delivery including Agile
  • Able to run workshops and understand different approaches such as design sprints, journey mapping and design thinking
  • Experience working in multiple sectors including the financial sector
