We have an open vacancy for a Marketing Executive Flooring / Roofing - Fixed Term 6 month contract. This role will assist to create opportunities across Sika Flooring and Roofing, ultimately contributing to the benefit of all target markets, building on the strength of Sika, and associated brands by communicating the full range of solutions to achieve market leadership.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide the TM Flooring and TM Roofing business with marketing plans in the relevant market sectors, which will facilitate the achievement of TM Flooring and Roofing objectives, strategies and sales targets.
The market strategies should benchmark our existing position, identify opportunities, meet our customers needs and be derived from sound business information gathered from within the market and external sources where necessary.
Developed plans to be executed on time and within budget, measuring success to shape future plans.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
To assist in the execution of communication strategies and tactical plans based on the overall marketing objectives that benchmark current communications and lay out clear plans to forge the company forward within TM Flooring and TM Roofing.
Develop and execute communications plans in conjunction with the relevant Marketing Team which could include : exhibitions, advertisements, literature, direct mail, website development, product launches, conferences, golf days, overseas incentives, events, videos, press launches, webinars and CPD presentation development.
Work closely with the relevant sales team when implementing strategies and communicate ROI from the team through Sika's CRM system.
Organisation and effective management of events scheduled in the Marketing Plans, including exhibitions, Deminars, Flooring / Roofing Awards, attendance at RICS and NFRC events for TM Roofing and organise post event initiatives where appropriate.
Manage the outsourcing of design work for the business unit, dealing with external agencies as appropriate.
Manage the outsourcing of design work and digital / online tasks, dealing with external agencies as appropriate.
Manage the outsourcing of all PR, ensuring effective management and distribution of all press releases, case studies, technical articles and blogs to the relevant target audience, with a calculated balance of online and offline communication.
To effectively contribute to website content and ensure visual compliance. Ensure that content is up to date, liaising with Digital Marketing.
To effectively manage social media channels, ensuring brand and message consistency, utilising programmes such as Falcon to ensure coordination of messaging.
Coordinate Marketing meetings for the team - take minutes and circulate actions where appropriate, driving actions to completion.
Attend Marketing Committee Meetings for Sika and take an active role in contributing to shared activities across all TMs.
Organise monthly reports to include, marketing activities, press cuttings and related media exposure, web enquires and social media activity, telemarketing performance and campaign specific performance.
Ensure all TM Flooring Roofing images, documents, brochures, videos and marketing collateral. are shared on Sika's online community 'Connections'.
Ensure all paid for and FOC directory entries (on and offline) are up to date for Flooring / Roofing.
Manage the relevant Marketing budget in a prudent and professional manner, ensuring correct and full information for raising purchase orders / signing invoices.

We Need Your Skills
At least 2 years’ experience in a B2B Marketing role
Educated to Degree level in Marketing
Chartered Marketer status or willingness to become chartered
Digital Marketing Specific Qualification / s
Institute of Roofing Associate Level or willingness to undertake the qualification
Demonstrable experience and clear success of Marketing Campaign Management
Sound market and industry knowledge
Clear understanding and proficiency in using content management systems for website development
Proficiency with Social Media channels, ensuring effective content development and management
A thorough understanding of the Marketing Planning Process and how to apply it
Clear strengths in delivery of projects on time / budget, showing ROI where possible
Understand customer needs / wants (Customer Insight)
Understanding of future trends and environmental changes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in IT skills; ability to multi task, manage time efficiently with ability to work under pressure and work to deadlines
Strong team player who can work effectively with other members of the team
