Copello are working with a defence services company to hire a Service Desk Operator.
Working within the Service Delivery function you will be principally tasked with providing excellent customer service to all key stake holders and contracts.
As a Service Desk Operator you will need to have experience in working within a customer service environment ideally within a business environment.
Being customer focused is essential with the ability to identify critical and important elements of information. You will have strong anylytical skills and the ability to multi-task with a logical approach to work.
Candidates will take a positive and energetic approach to work, with high levels of concentration and the ability to deal with interruptions.
Candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills and have strong interpersonal skills to build quick rapports with staff at all levels and departments.
The Service Delivery Operator will have excellent IT knowledge of Microsoft Office and fault management software.
Pervious experience of working within technical customer service environments or experience within technical service roles in the military would be an advantage.
This position helps to deliver a 24 / 7 service to the MOD with 12 hour shift patterns.
Candidates will need to be able to obtain security clearance. This position offers an salary of £26,000 increasing to £27,000 after 6 months with a shift allowance of 10%.
