    Purpose of the Role : Specific Responsibilities

    Specific Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with the companies installed base as well as targeting large-scale national building owners, facility managers and their business partners
  • Identify and connect with key decision makers, motivating senior business and technology leaders to act
  • As a business development manager for the energy upgrades program, you will be able to operate independently while working within a team environment
  • A key function of the role is to identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities with a focus on new business in order to obtain further growth
  • You will be customer and opportunity focused, in order to be successful with this you will establish long-term customer relationships based on the customer requirements
  • To keep a record of live projects, ensuring that the company CRM is maintained and updated
  • Agree, achieve and strive to exceed sales targets and margins
  • Attend industry functions when requested, e.g. exhibitions, conferences and dinners
  • Feedback market & competitor information
  • Experience & Skills

  • Strong communicator with a proven track record of developing sales within a commercial environment
  • Self-driven, results orientated with a clear focus on high quality and business profit
  • Reliable, tolerant, determined and tenacious
  • Able to get on with others and be a team player
  • Experienced in all aspects of sales from cold calling, obtaining sales opportunities, following up quotations to 'closing'
