We are looking for an exceptionally skilled Technical Program Manager to serve as a player-coach style Lead for our Dev Crews TPM team in the Americas East region.
Dev Crews TPMs lead high-impact engineering projects with customers and partners who are transforming their industries using cloud-based solutions and services, and who are open to working with Microsoft in a co-innovation style development partnership.
In addition to custom solutions tailored to specific industry scenarios, our work often involves development of open source software assets that contribute recurring value to customers and the Microsoft platform, whether generically or in a given industry vertical.
TPMs in Dev Crews fulfill the Product Owner role for a small portfolio of such projects, working with engineering teams and customer / partner engineers based in their region and areas of technical / product expertise.
In this capacity, DC TPMs identify and own’ the relevant scenarios, orchestrate the engineering approach to address these, and develop the end-to-end user stories with internal and external stakeholders.
Successful Dev Crews TPMs bring a passion for developer platform technologies, the ability to create and deliver high-impact, reusable software artifacts using modern, cloud-based development approaches and the ambition to drive results with a cross-functional team of software engineers.
Successful TPMs are self-motivated to continually deepen their hands-on technical skills. Loving the complexity, uncertainty and constant change of our environment, they look upon ambiguity as an opportunity to lead and set direction for the team and themselves.
