An excellent opportunity has become available for a forward thinking PMO Analyst to join our newly formed Finance Change team! Supporting the Finance Transformation Programme which is a significant change programme to deliver on the Finance Strategy and consists of a number of large programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities

As the PMO Analyst you will provide expert support and assistance to the project and programme managers ensuring their change initiatives are successfully delivered :

  • Providing assurance of appropriate governance for projects and programmes, ensuring escalation paths are followed.
  • Support creation and improvement of project management processes, procedures and tools.
  • Maintaining processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.
  • Reviewing artefacts produced by projects to assure quality, and that documentation and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.
  • Collate status reporting on projects and programmes, including performance, financials, risks / issues and dependencies.
  • Develop positive relationships with Project Managers and other partners across the group.
  • Key Skills

  • Experience with business change programmes
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the ability to use these tools to provide complex analysis and high-quality output
  • Project and PMO experience
  • Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management
  • Experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. Comfortable working in a distributed, remote-first environment
  • Ability to identify trends in data and produce high-quality, insightful reporting to drive decision making
  • Effective communicator at all levels
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage changing priorities
  • Desirable experience with PPM tools and Microsoft Teams / SharePoint
