The Role Objective

The role reports to the Director of Talent to ensure GroupM its agencies and businesses have a strategic plan that ensures the right level of resources are in place, using the most appropriate hiring channels to drive the best talent, from diverse industry segments into GroupM so that it can deliver the requirements of its customers and help the long-term growth of its businesses.

As a GroupM Talent Business Partner (TBP) you own the candidate experience and hiring process excellence across the agency network.

You will not only oversee the management of short and mid-term resourcing requirements across your designated operating company(s).

You will be responsible for ensuring the creation, execution and management of the strategic plan hiring the includes initiatives around diversity and inclusion, candidate experience and selection methods across your network.

Through your insights, scenario planning, predictive analysis and strategic approach you will partner with the internal HR leaders, Talent Acquisition and Resource Management groups in the UK to ensure that each business area(s) delivers on an annual hiring plan to the agreed budget.

This is an individual contributor role that requires a high degree of subject matter expertise in defining and managing recruitment strategy, diversity hiring, stakeholder management, workforce planning and digital adoption.

The role effectively manages all requisitions, so they are directed to the most appropriate hiring channel, (inhouse, partner, project, volume, PSL).

Responsibilities

The TBP leads recruiting effort with a focus on driving accountability, shaping recruitment strategies to increase hiring velocity that support department-wide growth and talent team resource alignment.

The role also amplifies the culture of the operating company and promotes a departmental GroupM culture amongst the Talent team.

Take the lead to support your designated operating company to anticipate future capability and capacity requirements and advise on associated risks so an agreed annual hiring plan can be agreed.

Responsible for coordinating and running the annual workforce planning and hiring budget process with your operating company.

Youll work closely with HR leaders on effective implementation of their specific employer value propositions in line with wider diversity and inclusion efforts to increase brand awareness.

Working in partnership with each of the delivery COEs to grow talent pipelines to meet both current and future requirements.

Supporting the business to continue being an employer of choice along with identifying and developing competitive talent attraction solutions.

You will own all talent acquisition channels and will hold the accountability for successful hiring on all requisitions for senior, experienced and future talent roles, acting as the bar raiser to ensure only the best talent is being hired.

This role manages all recruitment channels and will work with the business to identify the most appropriate ways to deliver the agree hiring plan.

Then work proactively to attract and engage the best people and the best diverse talent across all management layers and functions.

The position will lead on all senior level hiring to ensure the business can access the best diverse leadership talent that enables our business to achieve its strategic objectives.

Ongoing reporting of performance dashboards on strategy execution, hiring performance, current and actual spend against agreed budget.

Working with Op Co leadership and the Director of Talent Acquisition in making necessary shifts in resource allocation in order to accommodate any changing resourcing requirements and recruitment needs.

As a member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team you will also manage improvement projects to ensure that the Talent Acquisition function continuous to learn, develop and grow it its capabilities and vision to execute world class delivery.

    Required Experience

    Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, and / or equivalent level of industry experience.

    10 years recruiting experience including 3 years experience in a strategic recruitment business partnering role; being able to demonstrate adding value through continuous improvement initiatives.

    3+ years leadership experience, working with senior stakeholders to understand vision, define hiring strategy and most importantly delivery against plan.

    Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Strong communications and organizational skills.

    Good judgment and presence with the ability to interface effectively with and advise senior managers.

    Comprehensive behavioural-based interviewing and candidate assessment experience.

    Strong consultative skills to partner with hiring managers and convert candidates.

    Demonstrated experience using market intelligence to drive continuous improvement.
