To receive, greet and register guests on arrival and to attend to all their reception and cashiering needs during their stay, ensuring the highest standard of guest care and service at all times
Duties and Responsibilities :
To ensure that all customers receive a fast, efficient and friendly check-in and check out ensuring accuracy of all bills.
To be fully conversant with the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards, cheques, vouchers and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy.
To ensure all Front Desk reservations are accurately entered into ONQ and any additional information passed to the Reservations department for follow up.
To adhere to the hotel key / float restrictions in line with hotel procedure.
To ensure the correct operation of the petty cash procedures take place.
To promote Company loyalty programmes within the hotel
To ensure that all shift opening and closing procedures are followed as appropriate and to have a complete understanding of the night procedures with regards to timing, close of day procedures, pre-
reg arrivals and security.
To ensure that all early morning calls are delivered promptly and in line with daily call sheets.
To ensure that all systems are integrated and ready for the night run, ensuring that all hardware is functioning properly.
To be fully conversant with all night audit procedures, as well as working in a synchronised manner with the Night Manager.
To be fully conversant with all procedures for taking the hotel main computers down for the night run, and back up when the night run is over.
To assist the Night Reception team with the management of the Night Reception desk in respects of customer interaction and check in and check out procedures.
What we are looking for
Previous customer service experience is essential
positive attitude and excellent command of English
Cash handling experience
