Maths Intervention Teacher

  • The position : Maths Intervention Teacher, secondary
  • Salary : GBP20 - GBP30 per hour
  • Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a large secondary school in the Horfield area of Bristol who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Maths intervention teacher.

    Utilising the recent government funding, this school is looking for a Maths intervention teacher to provide support to students focusing on Maths 1 : 1 and in small groups.

    This role is full-time and provides the opportunity to gain experience and training.

    Will

  • Be able to commit to a long-term role as a Maths intervention teacher
  • Have experience and qualifications in Maths Qualified or non-qualified Maths specialists can apply (STEM graduates, NQTs, tutors, QTS, PGCE)
  • Have a respectful and professional manner towards pupils and staff within the school
  • Be passionate, inspiring and deliver lessons with energy with high expectations of work and behaviour
  • Support students emotional and well-being needs after the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Must

  • Have experience working with KS3 and KS4 children
  • Be confident teaching KS3-4 level Maths
  • The right to work within the UK
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid Child Only Workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
