As a School Management Administrator you will be carrying out the provision of a comprehensive and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to designated senior members of academic staff in the School of Art & Design.
This will include providing a professional and welcoming environment to visitors and students, dealing with enquiries and, in collaboration with other administrative staff, ensuring appropriate levels of support to the School at all times.
We are seeking applicants who are self-motivated and well-organised, with previous experience of working within a busy office environment.
You will have experience of taking minutes and will be an excellent team player with the proven ability to work well under pressure.
You will be able to operate using your own initiative and professional judgement, and will possess the skill to multitask and complete tasks promptly and accurately.
The ability to establish and develop strong customer-focused working relationships with a range of colleagues, students and external clients to the University will be essential, as will excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Other requirements include excellent attention to detail, a solution focused approach to all tasks and experience of using Microsoft Office applications, ideally within an office environment.
