Our client, who is based within the public sector, has an urgent requirement for an HR Administrator. This is a temporary requirement and is based in the city centre of Glasgow.
The pay rate is £10.72 per hour, and hours of work will be 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Key tasks :
Manage and coordinate recruitment processes
Provide policy advice to staff and managers and support the Senior HR Officers and HR Team Manager with employee relations matters.
Complete accurate and timely payroll paperwork, contracts and other transactional HR practices, including maternity leave, annual leave, sick leave, special leave etc, and where required, liaise with payroll directly to resolve queries and coordinate and maintain HR systems and databases (eESS, payroll, sickness absence, annual leave) to enable appropriate records to be kept and produce reports as required.
Person Specification :
Knowledge of a range of HR processes and procedures, including recruitment, and sickness absence reporting
Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) are essential, as is a good eye for detail.
The post holder will be proficient in using the Microsoft Office packages
The ability to work on own initiative and to agreed timescales is essential, as is flexibility and the ability to work as an effective member of the team
Experience of supporting a number of different areas of work at the same time and being able to prioritise effectively and work without close supervision
