Band 6 Radiographer- MRI

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust was the UK’s first Academic Health Science Centre to be established. Its aim is to build on the foundations of our hospitals (i.

e. Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlottes’s and Chelsea, St Marys and Western Eye) to provide even stronger world-class healthcare to our patients through excellence in research, education and training.

An exciting opportunity has come up for qualified diagnostic radiographers to join the MRI team at St Mary’s hospital Paddington, London.

St Mary’s has recently installed a new state of the art Signa GE Artist 1.5T to complement our four other GE MR Scanners.

We are therefore looking for fresh and dynamic individuals to join the team to be part of integrating this new service.

In this MRI post, you will be trained to perform a diverse range of diagnostic MR procedures for both adults and pediatrics patients in outpatient, inpatient and major trauma settings.

We are looking for individuals who are ready to embrace the challenges that come with a department embedding a new scanner into an existing service.

You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to cope with a very wide portfolio of services including major trauma work.

You should be a radiographer who enjoys CAKE - being Collaborative, Aspirational, Kind with a drive to becoming Expert in the field of MRI.
