We're looking for an eCommerce Insights Manager to join our team in Savoy Court, London (remotely) as part of our Digital Product function.

As part of our eCommerce Insights Team, you are responsible for ensuring that Edge by Ascential customers are utilizing the platform to successfully drive their online business with their e-retailers and deliver value across their organization.

This role is responsible for servicing a portfolio of Consumer and Professional manufacturer clients across Europe.

The eCommerce Insight Manager will act as the main point of contact for the client, addressing questions and concerns, providing training and guidance, and analysing trends to solve complex business questions.

Through building a consultative relationship, the Insight Manager will :

  • Understand the customer goals, agreeing customer satisfaction plan to deliver against the goals via regular business review checkpoints
  • Identify areas for upselling and proactively work with the sales team to drive increased revenue
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, leading to renewal
  • You will work with other functions internally to coordinate client requests, operational changes, and implementations, and deliver tangible ''value generation'' as part of the customer satisfaction plan
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer’s business needs are captured during the activation & customer’s teams are on-boarded on the Edge platform
  • Show the customer how to derive eCommerce insights from the Edge platforms & take actions to grow their online business (including preparation & delivery of presentations)
  • Coordinate with customer’s Global holding & markets to ensure consistency of our approach across markets
  • Promote & deliver a professional service including in-depth analysis, secondary research & leading workshops
  • Monitor customer satisfaction; work with account managers to proactively identify and address customer issues
  • Be the voice of the customer in relation to other Edge functions (Product management, Operations, Customer support, Sales, and Management), leading problem-solving initiatives
  • Your Experience

  • eCommerce experience in the Consumer and Professional Goods manufacturer or retail sectors
  • Required experience in category management, shopper marketing or trade marketing with renown e-retailers - FMCG highly desirable
  • Understanding of eCommerce performance elements / dynamics i.e. SEO, Taxonomy, Enhanced content
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of Manufacturer / Retailer eCommerce relationship
  • Must have strong experience in Quantitative Research, ideally within brand
  • A plus to have full-service experience, Project Management as well as Insight
  • Exceptional communicator (written and verbally) and must have proven client management experience
  • Some experience having coached or trained more junior members of the team
  • Proven in developing and landing actionable insights for the client’s organisation
  • Data analysis, from manipulation, design and delivery
  • Tangible experience on looking at vast amount of data and extract patterns that can give actionable business decision to clients
  • Excel is a must and any other analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) are desirable
  • Great communication skills are key - being clear, confident, persuasive and empathetic with clients and colleagues
  • You will be expected to contribute to our collaborative culture, with a can-do attitude and a positive approach to your work

  • Statistics background would be a plus
