The overall objectives of the role are to ensure effective and efficient management of the financial ledgers to ensure accurate financial accounting, management, reporting and control, including support for Heads of Functions, maintain and posting to the ledgers and managing internal transactions.
Involvement in the Audit, Budgeting and forecasting process.
Posting and reconciliation of journal (JV’s)
Month end management reporting including management accounts and BUR packs.
Preparation of cash flow reports to monitor performance and assist in forecasting
Supporting collection of data and analysis to assist with preparation tax returns
Performing weekly / monthly check to check integrity of the accounting system
Assist in ensuring accuracy of the CVR reporting process
Performing month end procedures to close the ledgers and management reporting
Review cost reports such as payroll and other project costs including monitoring and reviewing overhead costs
Assist in ensuring payments out are approved and processed
Assist with control of project set up and closures & support commercial and operation teams with adhoc contract analysis and information requests
Skills & experience
Qualified or on a path close to qualification.
