Job Summary

The Diversity and Inclusion Lead is accountable for designing and implementing the D&I 1-3 year plan and requires a deep understanding of effective Diversity and Inclusion practices, bringing market insight and ideas and scaling them across Finastra.

Accountabilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Create the 1-3 year plan for diversity, excite the company with the possibilities diversity can present
  • Understand the science and psychology of diversity and ensure all the HR and business touch points (policies, products etc.
  • across the organization are designed with inclusion in mind

  • Create and manage annual diversity calendar. Forward planning to have content to launch / update on. Pride, women’s week, cultural celebrations etc
  • Lead end-to-end diversity projects (Flexible working, Reconnecting women to work, supporting BAME to succeed in Finastra)
  • Work cross functionally across HR and with brand / marketing / CSR to find white space and new ideas that will differentiate Finastra
  • Create diversity toolkits and train business and HR
  • Develop a stream of thought leadership articles on social
  • Represent the organization at conferences and key thought leadership forums
  • Support the sales team to share the positive Finastra story as it develops
  • Moves the dial on diversity and inclusion metrics
  • Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • A proven track record of successful diversity work. Either in a role or led the work.
  • Understands the science of unconscious bias
  • High empathy
  • Brilliant communicator on social media and on stage. Very good at writing
  • Numerate
  • Technology savvy
  • Easily builds strong cross-functional relationships
