Responsibilities

To deliver, with a high degree of accuracy, effective and innovative multi-media trade and trade to consumer marketing campaigns featuring Universal’s theme parks and resorts

Working to deadlines and budget, manage varied trade (B2B) and trade to consumer (B2B2C) projects to deliver accurate and compelling brand representation by means of proactive communication and meetings with trade partners, agencies, and internal stakeholders including head office in Orlando.

Drive return on investment by constantly adapting initiatives to respond to changes within audience, market and media environments.

Campaign Development

Based on approved budgets, timelines and required ROI :

Liaise with the Marketing Manager, relevant Sales Teams and selected trade partners to develop and agree annual plans to include a relevant range of trade and trade to consumer initiatives

Develop project plans to include objectives, mechanics, timescales, budget and value to business

Create and implement campaign critical paths in order to manage and deliver campaigns to deadline

Brief trade partners and agencies to produce creative and collateral to specification within agreed budget

Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to Universal brand guidelines, legal requirements and Licensed Partner obligations

Deliver activity to market, to budget and deadline

Provide post campaign analysis and interpretation, defining delivered value and ROI

Research and market analysis

Analyse and interpret previous campaign insight

Analyse and interpret audience, media and market based data

Proactively keep in touch and monitor general trade, consumer and media trends

Incorporate learnings within campaign development process

Relationship Management

Develop vibrant and proactive relationships with both internal and external partners, suppliers and stakeholders

Assist Universal Orlando teams in the delivery of marketing activities, ensuring collateral is relevant for European markets

Key Projects & Relationships

Implement joint marketing campaigns and activities ensuring accurate and approved Universal brand representation in trade partner brochures, websites and other creative including online, digital, radio, OOH, e-

CRM, direct mail, print, social media and POS environments

Responsible for timely sourcing and distribution of appropriate marketing assets including copy, images, video content and brand guidelines

Responsible for the timely delivery of all elements of UOR Trade Media marketing campaigns to include media purchase, creative development and subsequent review as required

General Team Support / Ad hoc

Prepare and maintain grids to monitor partner brochure and website content and creation, and campaign activity

Track and monitor in-market trade partner marketing activity

Co-ordinate and attend team and 3rd party meetings as required

Represent the company and brand at travel trade partner functions when required

Ensure efficiency of marketing department, adhering to internal housekeeping procedures, maintaining internal folders with latest assets, creative copy, footage as well as brand guidelines in line with Orlando parameters

Willingness and flexibility to adapt to new challenges and changes to the role

Previous experience of trade and trade to consumer campaign delivery

Creative acumen and attention to detail

Strong team player with ability to build effective relationships quickly

Demonstrable experience of problem solving and decision making

Strong stakeholder management

Ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines

Ability to analyse and present statistical data using spreadsheets

Experience of working within the Travel Industry / Entertainment Industry

Previous experience of working with licensed partner property is desirable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
