  • The Role :

    Territory Sales Manager Endoscopy

  • Selling the full range of endoscopy products
  • Selling capital equipment, consumables & service contracts
  • Focus is 60% consumable + 40% capital equipment
  • The area will hit target this year. Pipeline is VERY strong
  • Will have the support of an engineer and also a clinical support person
  • 65% new business + 35% account management. A lot of the new capital equipment has been won of the back of people going to hospitals that they have no foot print in and selling the consumables and then off the back of that when the hospital is ready to acquire new equipment the company are able to win that business!!
  • Lead time on the capital equipment sales can be 18 months for the sales to go through. Sometimes it can be 5 years!!!
  • This is the fastest growing area in the NHS as technology is always changing
  • Lowest commission paid out over the year has been £12k and the highest that Stephen has ever paid out is £45k!
  • The Ideal Person :

    Territory Sales Manager Endoscopy

  • Ideally someone from a medical capital equipment background related to endoscopy (Mentioned Autoclaves & Washer-Disinfectors)
  • However will consider medical consumables background
  • General medical sales will also be good as long as have a proven track record and again ideally theatre based sales
  • Will also look at candidates outside of medical as long as they come from a capital equipment / big ticket sales background
  • Wants someone with a strong work ethic, wants to prove themselves, put in the graft for 2 years before they really start to see some really good results.
  • Ambitious, wants to make a name for themselves!!
