Our business, IPN, Inspired Pet Nutrition Ltd is a market leading FMCG manufacturer of pet foods. We are best known for our market leading brands, Wagg and Harringtons.
It is an exciting time to join IPN as our business continues to accelerate its growth within the pet food market.
We are looking to recruit a driven and motivated individual to join our established finance team.
As a Management Accountant, your main focus will be to financially support and business partner both the baked and wet food Manufacturing sites in Kinmel, North Wales.
The role will support the Operations team externally from Thirsk but will include regular travel arrangements and up to two days per week in the Kinmel office to allow for strong face to face relationship building with internal stakeholders and key Management personnel.
You will need to have experience of working in a fast
paced environment. An understanding or background in a Manufacturing environment in particular would be advantageous. Here's what your role will look like :
Preparation and interpretation of weekly / monthly / quarterly Management Reports
Preparation of Annual Budgets and Rolling Forecasts
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts to P&L and Balance Sheet
Undertaking financial administration and Internal audits / testing of controls
Finance business partnering for the Kinmel based operation
Activity based costing analysis and interpretation
Understanding the â€ shop floor' Manufacturing cost profile including BOM's.
What you'll need to succeed :
Full member accreditation to CIMA, ACCA or ACA
Experience in a similar role with the ability to work both autonomously and as part a team
Manufacturing background with BOM / Cost card experience advantageous
Budget and forecast experience including variance analysis
High levels of business / commercial acumen
Advanced computer literacy skills
High levels of accuracy, strong attention to detail and able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills
The ability to work within agreed deadlines and timescales
