As a Wind Turbine Technician in our Scottish Borders team based at Fallago Rig Windfarm Service Center (TD3 6NW), every day is different and provides a real opportunity to make a difference in our ambition to help the UK achieve Net Zero.
You’ll work across multiple assets (Vestas MW platforms and Senvion technology platforms) to deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services to our onshore wind turbine projects.
You’ll be a time served Engineer (electrical / mechanical) with a primary focus on ensuring operations and maintenance activities are undertaken to the highest levels you’ll ideally hold a AT / AE qualification under Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) and have significant technical expertise gained through a blend of academic (Electrical or Mechanical HNC / HND / NVQ) and hands on operational environments.
Day to Day you will
The successful candidate will live within 30 miles / 45 minutes of Fallago Rig or closer. You must have a full, clean driving licence.
You will ideally have experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
