Contribute to the world's most technologically advanced vertical farming system and mentor juniors along the way.
The Challenge :
Vertical farmers do it full stack. Do you want to grow your skills? Do you want to be involved in a start up in its rapid growth phase?
Are you agile minded enough to be able to help enhance a complex project right from day one? At Intelligent Growth Solutions we build cutting edge vertical farming hardware and the software to manage it at scale.
Following several years of research, we are now delivering to our first customers and if we do it right, we will change the world.
We will be converting experimental hardware and software in to scalable, maintainable and extensible enterprise grade product.
Now we need engineers to join out team to help realise that vision; do you have the intellect and flexibility to help? Are you interested in changing the face of farming so that we can feed the world?
As we continuously improve our products to deliver more value to our customers; we must continuously improve our processes, our architectures and ourselves.
The software architecture is necessarily complex and interfaces with an equally complex hardware system. Primarily using .
NET Core with Angular frontend to integrate multiple sub-systems with the farm management software. To sustain quality, it is vital that we are forward looking using cutting edge technologies and modern software practices.
Is this who you want to be?
The Software Engineering Team :
Building on well established foundations of an open and collaborative environment, we are an Agile team with the highest coding and quality standards to ensure the success of the business.
We are now seeking Software Engineers to join the team to help build the cloud-based vertical farm management systems that maximises yield for our customers.
As we develop our product, focused on the needs of our users, the software will need to grow and scale reliably. We will need to have automated testing and continuous integration pipelines at the centre of our engineering practices.
We want to be able to move fast and deliver early, so we have adopted Scrum, to keep us all in lock step and delivering the highest priorities first.
We are a team that wants to provide excellent product (hardware and software) to growers worldwide. We want to enjoy the process of doing that, nurturing each other to produce the best results.
We are Agile with a strong emphasis on collaboration and a big backlog of exciting things to do. We have a culture of continuous improvement and learning, striving to do the best for each other and delighting our customers.
