We are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled (M&E) Maintenance Technician to join our new contract, responsible for a large commercial building providing all reactive and planned maintenance for the landlord.

This role is part of a larger portfolio that is NEW to NG Bailey as of 6th July

The Resident Maintenance Engineer will be working Monday - Friday and be required to provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.

The Multi Skilled Engineer will have experience of reviewing RAM's of sub-contractors and issuing permit to work (PTW), preferably working on single man sites in the past.

You will have a background & qualifications in a Mechanical AND / OR Electrical discipline and have extensive experience working in a building service / maintenance environment.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 - 17 : 00 with a call-out requirement.

You will :

  • Deliver PPM relating primarily to Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Plant and System's in-line with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.
  • Costing and completing Reactive Works identified through PPM work undertaken when requested.
  • Provide Service Support as part of a team providing quality service delivery 24 / 7, with a requirement to be part of the out of hour's emergency call out team currently 1 in 5.
  • To maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard
  • To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties.
  • Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required
  • You will have :

  • Worked on various manufacturers systems, skilled in a Mechanical & / or Electrical Discipline carrying out PPM's in line with SFG20 or equivalent, with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience.
  • Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Technician.
  • Ideally all candidates would have completed a Mechanical OR Electrical apprenticeship
  • Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs with minimal supervision.
  • CHP / Biomass & Air Conditioning experience an advantage.
  • IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable)
  • Safe system of Work Procedure - PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable)
  • L8 Training (Desirable)
