  • An Ofsted Good’ School has approached Teaching Personnel and is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher.

    This role is located in Burnley to commence work after October half-term, with a view for the optimal candidate to be made permanent.

    This one-form primary school is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding and creative teacher who is motivated, flexible, calm and patient and who strives for good teamwork to provide professional expertise and high-quality teaching.

    The Head Teacher of this Primary School is looking for someone who has a proven track record of delivering good results. She would like a candidate with excellent references and a passion for education to join their team and help raise attainment in Year 6, to prepare the children for their SATS.

    Working within this school, you would be part of a friendly, bubbly team who pride themselves on their positive working relationships and team dynamics.

    As a class teacher, you would also be assisted by a full time Teaching Assistant who is familiar with the school day routine and other relevant policies.

    The Headteacher is looking to interview as soon as possible and is open to applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

  • Liaising with and forming strong partnerships with parents / carers, including taking part in developmental progress review meetings and providing feedback to parents / carers.
  • Requirements for the role :

  • QTS qualification or equivalent
  • Key Stage 2 National Curriculum knowledge
  • Recent experience working alongside children in Year 6
  • A hard-working and committed attitude to raising standards in the classroom
