Schools have seen significant increases of students over recent years where English is not their first language and this has put additional pressure on resources.
Young children with EAL find it difficult to integrate with their peers and cannot easily access the school curriculum. The language barriers may extend to parents and carers making supporting the child even more challenging.
Teaching Personnel provide staff to work with EAL pupils, helping them develop and model the English language by providing support with reading, writing, listening and speaking.
This can often help bridge the gap between school and parents making for a much better outcome all round.
Your work will depend on the age of the children and their individual needs, but may include :
Working hours are from 8 : 30am - 3 : 30pm but can vary depending on the school / pupils. Teaching Personnel can offer fantastic career development and competitive rates of pay.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
