The mission of the Engineering Support team is to provide the knowledge and expertise within the operations department maintaining the tools used by our development teams to support the Software Development Lifecycle and bridging the gap between development and operations.
The DevOps team will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and optimising the infrastructure of a technology centric web-based company.
The successful candidate will help the development team to build and release their products in an efficient and constantly improving process.
This engineer will help bridge the gap between development and infrastructure and be a role model on which we will build our future DevOps teams.
This team will focus on supporting our developer teams by means of setting up CI / CD environments and pipelines, as well as looking after the infrastructure sitting at the back bone of our products.
You need the ability to think outside the box in order to take us there. Our systems are diverse; some run on Linux while others are Microsoft.
Our tech stack includes but is not limited to : MS SQL, .Net, Windows Server, PostgreSQL, Elixir, Redis, Splunk, Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes to name a few.
Your challenge will also be to educate and advocate for automation improvements.
As part of this team you will need the ability to analyse and always try to see the best way forward. The DevOps engineer will be a key player where your passion for improvements and genuine interest in continuous delivery will drive to you create high quality solutions and ways of working.
You understand that modern systems administration is all about automating tasks rather than performing them. Communication with many contacts will be the key to success in this role.
