Sainsbury’s Bank isrecruiting for an experienced Portfolio Business Partner who will play acrucial role in working closely with stakeholders across all levels including theHead of cPMO and Executive enabling effective portfolio planning andmanagement.

Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for the creation and maintenance ofthe Change Portfolio and will develop and maintain the SB change planning andcontrol approach.

The aim will be to provide a predictable deliveryperformance, better financial management & governance, pre-empting issues anddelays before they occur and faster resolution of issues.

You’ll :

Develop and lead therelationship between cPMO & Sainsbury’s Bank to ensure effective portfolioplanning and maintenance

Provide support, guidanceand challenge to leadership teams, line managers and colleagues in order to supporteffective portfolio planning and maintenance

Develop and maintaineffective working relationships at Senior / Key stakeholder level

Responsible for theidentification, management & mitigation of portfolio risks

Objectively analyserelevant data and intelligence, identifying and resolving inconsistencies

Develop and manage theTechnology portfolio planning process to ensure change plans are establishedand maintained in line with the financial planning cycle

Accountable for thedevelopment, management and reporting of a consistent, high-level view of thePortfolio profile & status across Sainsbury’s Bank

Monitor and qualityassure all project plans for slippage and progress against mandatorydeliverables and key milestones ensuring an accurate view of the ChangePortfolio and underlying Change plan is maintained at all times

Provide visibility ofportfolio status and material factors that have determined the status (risks,etc.) and clear resolution / decision requirements to the Chief Technology Officerand Accountable Executives

Provide effectivevisibility of material portfolio levelrisks, issues, constraints, assumptions and dependencies

Responsible for thedevelopment, management and reporting of a consistent, high-level view of SBSupply & Demand for change activities to enable resource management withinthe Technology team

Identify, develop anddrive improvements to governance principles, standards and processes so thatthese remain fit-for-purpose

Drive development anddelivery of end state Agile governance standards

Control and manage inputsto the QBR Forum organising information to ensure appropriate engagement,insight and briefing at Executive and senior management levels

Monitor and periodicallyreview governance Standards internally and with key suppliers

Control and drive the SBchange governance process, quality assuring all inputs to ensure they areaccurate and fit-for-purpose

Manage and drivedecision-focused, predictive reporting packs that have been quality assuredprior to distribution and are provided within required timescales

YourSkills

Proven track recordin the management of complex business transformation at all stages of thelifecycle

Able to positivelychallenge senior stakeholders whilst providing supporting evidence whererequired

Experience withinthe financial services industry is preferred

Well organised andable to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectivelyunder pressure

Highly resilientand able to deal effectively with ambiguity / changing priorities

Ability to operateeffectively in a fast-paced change environment

Highly numerate,with excellent analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent teamplayer with ability to working closely with others to deliver results

Effectivecoach / mentor with ability to develop others

Proven track recordof working on own initiative, with the ability to introduce fresh thinking tothe role and the wider team

Demonstrate anability to think and reason logically

Strong relationshipmanagement skills

Excellent writtencommunication business and projectreports

Exceptionalcommunication skills - ability tocommunicate effectively with anyone in any environment, e.g. able to translatecomplex / technical issues to meet the audience's competency level

Aware of andExperienced in working in an Agile environment

Required tocommunicate with Technology PMs, Project Sponsors and Leads, Finance, ExCo andThird party supplier PMO Leads and their teams.
