The key deliverables of the Talent Acquisition Lead involve a focus on identifying and sourcing best talent in the market for the Content+Cloud group of companies.
Reporting into the Head of Talent, you will deal with the full 360 recruitment cycle managing an allocation of roles directly from sign off to hire, including post job analysis, for vacancies sitting within the UK teams ( and occasionally assisting with SA vacancies as needed).
Duties and responsibilities
Manage the end to end process for roles allocated to you by the Head of Talent, providing an excellent candidate experience at each stage, whilst focussing on the following responsibilities :
Via the Talent Administrator ensure all job descriptions & advertising is consistent & compliant (including the qualification process and exam creation if appropriate).
Create job adverts in accordance with marketing best practice guidelines for attraction optimisation and accessibility for all
Ensure you are using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as the one centralised location for all candidate and role information, keeping it updated throughout the hiring process
Be flexible, innovative and creative in the way you look for talent, engaging with both the active and passive markets (e.
g. encouraging leaders to first consider talent in their existing teams who may be suitable for opportunities, reviewing direct applicants via the ATS, employee referrals and search passively for talent via social media networks, CV databases, networking meetings / career fairs, LinkedIn etc)
Conduct initial telephone qualification interviews with candidates and confirm the next stages of recruitment process
Ensure candidates submitted to HLs are a pre-qualified against the JD and that you focus on quality over quantity of shortlist.
We recommend maintaining a pipeline of 3-5 solid candidates for HL review at any time.
Organise interviews with Hiring Leaders and administer the interview invites using templates as a basis.
Be the main point of contact for our PSL agencies if they have been engaged to work on a role that has been assigned to you, ensuring they follow the correct processes and are uploading profiles via the ATS only.
Ensure that you treat vendors with the professionalism and fairness with a view that if we have engaged, we should champion their success.
Manage the offer process for your roles pull together and distribute information for the new-hire approval process ensuring we are obtaining approval from the relevant people before making an offer.
Be on hand for any negotiations or follow up discussions that may need to take place.
Conduct regular reviews in line with our current People and Talent processes (check all CV sharing, interview booking, reference chasing is in line with our GDPR policies)
Systems / Reporting
Maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring it is kept up to date at all times and that all candidates are managed effectively, and feedback is tracked on time
Pull reports, as requested, from the ATS to provide job analysis information to help guide decisions on best approach for future roles
Provide a weekly update to the Head of Talent on the progress of roles assigned to you (this will include pipelining information such as where the role has been advertised, number of candidates in process and at what stage, feedback on candidate quality and any observations on the current market)
Contribute to the weekly and monthly reporting requirements of the team, ensuring accurate information is provided in the required format
Attend relevant external recruitment / talent training sessions to ensure knowledge is kept up to date
Act as a point of contact for the more junior members of the team to discuss any queries.
Provide content for regular marketing activities for the Talent Pooled candidates
Support the Talent Intern with Talent Mailbox queries and reviews of references for new starters
Attend regular team meetings and contribute with recommendations, previous experience and on the job intelligence
Be an ambassador for the team at all times

Location and Environment
This role can be based remotely or out of our London or Manchester offices, however you will work amongst a team split across our UK and Cape Town offices.

Required Skills and Capabilities
Previous experience within an in-house senior recruitment position where you have overseen the full 360 process
Knowledge of employment eligibility (particularly in the UK market)
Experience of working with Applicant tracking Systems (ATS) / Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
Strong track record of sourcing, screening and selection of best talent
Ability to build strong relationships with managers and key stakeholder
Demonstrable experience of using MS packages - Word & Excel in particular
Ability to prioritise work coming from a number of sources and still work to deadlines
Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills
Proven Negotiation skills
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently, as well as with team members
12-month FTC role (starting from June - Maternity cover)
Salary dependent on experience
Role based out of our London or Manchester offices (currently working remotely)
25 days’ annual leave (pro-rata)
