Institutional and Treasury Coverage (ITC) works closely with product partners in Fixed Income & Currencies, Equities, Corporate Finance and Global Transaction Banking to ensure alignment and coordination of interaction across the numerous entry points through which we engage our clients.

ITC includes Corporate Banking Coverage (CBC), Corporate Banking Germany (CBG), the Financing & Solutions Group (FSG) and the Institutional Client Group (ICG).

Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide.

Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for macro and microanalysis within Deutsche Bank Group and acts as consultant for the bank, its clients and stakeholders.

We analyse relevant trends for the bank in financial markets, the economy and society and highlight risks and opportunities.

Deutsche Bank Research delivers high-quality, independent analysis and actively promotes public debate on economic, fiscal, labour market and social policy issues.

Operations Reference Data Services (ORDS) is responsible for provision of operational support and management of Party (Client) and Instrument Reference data to facilitate Know Your Customer (KYC) and enable client business and trading relationships and associated downstream processes, including Regulatory and Tax obligations.

ORDS is driving the Group Party and Instrument Data Strategy across Corporate and Investment Banking.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Providing detailed impact analysis and providing advice / direction to implement proposed and final regulations to ORDS Run-the-Bank’ (RTB) teams
  • Liaising between RTB business owners (Front Office and Operations), Legal and Compliance, Regulatory Affairs and the relevant Deutsche Bank technology delivery programmes
  • Providing stakeholders with clear status updates to assist the delivery of timely, accurate and compliant business requirement documentation using established Deutsche Bank project governance frameworks
  • Working with ORDS to understand and produce requirements (BRDs or User Stories) which deliver group initiatives, ensuring the solution covers all potential impacts
  • Supporting the design and conceptualisation of new business solutions and articulate the identified impacts and risks
  • Ensuring project deliverables are fully traceable to original regulatory requirements
  • Defining and executing transition plans, e.g. user training, run books
  • Managing and coordinating delivery of the regulatory projects, providing status reports to programme stakeholders and escalating where appropriate
  • Promoting continuous improvement of ORDS processes
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Experience in Financial Services (Corporate or Investment Banking) with a good understanding of products, front-to-back processes and market / regulatory trends
  • Experience in a similar roles, taking on a hybrid role across Business Analysis and Project Coordination
  • In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Reference Data solutions and KYC to support Regulatory Compliance delivery
  • Working knowledge of core European Union banking regulations such as Markets In Financial Instruments Directive, European Market Infrastructure Regulation, General Data Protection Regulation and AnaCredit would be beneficial
  • Experience of taking initiatives and implementing these into Operations functions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the global team, as well as independently in order to achieve results
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise various work demands to ensure timely delivery of urgent requests
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to liaise and engage with key decision makers, peer groups and functions outside direct control and discuss findings / proposals in front of senior stakeholders
