We are looking for a unique candidate that wants to lead Post Holdings on a journey to the future of Enterprise Networks.

The candidate would understand how data moves between Clouds, SaaS Solutions and Legacy environments while adapting the network to meet the needs of the Enterprise.

We want someone that is excited about the future impact of 5G in both business and IoT applications, has passion for security, and is relentless at finding ways to improve the environment.

This position requires someone that can be technical, innovative, strategic, and results driven.

This position requires someone that understands the value of Managed Services and the ideal candidate has a capability to manage relationships, work with support organizations on problem resolution, and is comfortable escalating within support organizations to ensure quick resolution of issues.

If you have ever described yourself in relation to networking as a jack of all trades , a swiss army knife or having knowledge a mile wide and a foot deep these are the characteristics we are looking for.

Technical Skills

  • Firewall and Intrusion Detection technologies
  • Routing and Switching (Layer 2 / 3)
  • PBX, Phone Technologies and Video / Voice over IP
  • EIGRP, BGP, RIP or OSPF Routing Protocol knowledge
  • MPLS (AVPN) including QOS / COS
  • Wireless Technologies (Meraki, Cisco, Aruba)
  • Packet Analysis using Sniffer Tools
  • Network Based Access Control and RADIUS
  • Cloud Controller Based Technologies (Meraki, Aruba, Etc.)
  • Cloud Datacenter Connectivity (Azure, AWS, Rackspace, etc.)
  • VPN (End user and GRE Failover)
  • Technical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, plan and implement new cloud managed routing, switching and telecommunication strategies.
  • Provide network and host based security, incident response, firewall and VPN management and administration
  • Provide performance forecasting and ensure industry best practices are met
  • Implement the necessary controls and procedures to protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction
  • Work with vendors, common carriers, subsidiaries and network engineering in identification and resolution of complex network problems
  • Work with subsidiaries to give guidance and direction on conforming to Corporate Standards.
  • Provide tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects
  • Ensure network performance and network security standards are met
  • Manage hosted VoIP solution.
  • Managed hosted edge firewall solution.
  • Document network changes, policies and procedures and drawings
  • Manage / Lead projects and schedules.
  • Must be available as required to respond to network emergencies.
  • Organizational Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive adherence to corporate standards and industry best practices
  • Manage network-related vendors
  • Participate in infrastructure architecture governance team
  • Conduct cost / benefit analysis and risk assessment for new network projects
  • Manage operational costs, conduct near and long term financial forecasts for network infrastructure
  • Coordinate the procurement and retirement of hardware and paid network services
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with organization’s stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent network related activities.

  • Professional Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in a network support role
  • WAN, LAN, TCP / IP, VPN, Ethernet Skills with a minimum 10 years’ experience
  • Experience with MPLS, layer 2, and layer 3 in a production implementation / support capacity
  • Experience with implementation and support of Cisco ASA or equivalent Platform, as well as QOS and Multicast technologies
  • A comprehensive understanding of security best practices in networking
  • A thorough knowledge of Enterprise class networking hardware
  • Knowledge and Abilities

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills including planning, material preparation and public speaking
  • Strong grasp of networking concepts, implementation and management of network management tools.
  • Strong solution-oriented approach skills towards problem solving
  • Ability to manage projects, have excellent mentoring skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Clear, concise and precise written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
  • Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP or CCDP) or equivalent required or equivalent field experience
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer (CCIE) Certification Preferred
