You will be part of the YouGov Direct team, delivering a key part of YouGov’s next five year plan. The role presents the right candidate with the opportunity to shape the future of YouGov Direct and also provides exposure to YouGov’s founder and CEO - YouGov Direct is one of his top priorities.

While the role is sales focused, because we are small from time to time you will be asked to support other areas that may include : project management, marketing, client management and operations.

This role will report to YouGov Direct’s Head of Sales and Marketing.

Job Description

The role is a 6-12 month contract to cover maternity leave, with the potential to become permanent, following strong performance.

You will be part of the YouGov Direct team, delivering a key part of YouGov’s next five year plan. The role presents the right candidate with the opportunity to shape the future of the YouGov Direct product.

While the role is sales focused, because we are small (with a start up mentality) from time to time you will be asked to support other areas that may include : project management, marketing, client management and operations.

This role will report to YouGov Direct’s Head of Sales and Marketing.

Sales Executives :

  • Generate leads through : proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking and working with in-house client management teams
  • Build excellent relationships with clients to ensure long standing and successful partnerships
  • Create compelling collateral for client meetings, websites and social media
  • Educate and update internal sales and account management teams on YouGov Direct and latest developments
  • Support the Head of Sales and Marketing to close opportunities and negotiate contracts
  • Network through attending conferences and seminars.
  • Qualifications

    This is a new role in a team that has been set-up to act like a start-up within the business to create new products and revenue streams, meaning the successful candidate will need to bring :

  • Flexibility priorities for the team will change frequently
  • Creative thinking new products like YouGov Direct create new challenges and opportunities that require creative thinking to deliver solutions to meet those challenges and realise those opportunities
  • Teamwork YouGov Direct is a small team delivering a big project, being able to work well as part of a team is essential
  • A start-up mentality : resourceful, ambitious, agile, willing to roll sleeves up and get stuck in
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
