Title : Marketplace Executive

Location : Alderley Business Park, Alderley, SK10 4ZE

Salary : Dependant on experience

As the Marketplace Executive , you will be responsible for the performance of the company's Marketplace proposition, as well as the channel strategy's delivery.

You will contribute to the channel's ambitious growth plans by increasing visibility, optimising product listings, and maximizing their exposure, sales and profitability.

The role reports directly into the Head of Trading and it is a diverse role that relies on your having a good understanding of marketplace listing, optimisation and advertising.

The core responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Boosting listing placement across multiple online platforms including Amazon & Ebay
  • Developing and creating an online presence for each product listing, ensuring it's in line with each marketplaces best practices as well as brand positioning.
  • Marketplace sales reporting and forecasting using excel for product data management.
  • Creating and implementing promotional calendars to drive sales at key periods.
  • Launching new marketplaces globally in conjunction with International Trading Managers.
  • Attending weekly trade meetings with senior stakeholders and wider Ecommerce Team to share key marketplace trade and performance updates.
  • Proposing product promotions for items which are in bulk, manage pricing offers on marketplace platforms to ensure stock level is adequate.
  • Working with the wider teams to ensure optimal product media is utilized online.
  • Recognising and applying recommendations that enhance marketplace search results and visibility.
  • Coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure that all inventory is live and in stock.
  • Working alongside the customer services team to ensure that we adhere to our SLAs i.e responding to queries and delivery lead times.
  • Key Requirements

    Having already gained solid experience within one or more marketing channel, you are now looking for an opportunity to expand your skill set and to have diversity within your role.

    The fast-paced growth of the company lends itself to someone with an entrepreneurial nature, good communicator and a can-do attitude, willing to get stuck in from the get go.

    If you believe you have the following skills we would love to hear from you :

  • Previous experience as Channel Advisor is desirable.
  • Strong time management skills and an ability to manage multiple channels at once.
  • Proven track record of managing KPIs and ROI effectively.
  • Experience in health, beauty or wellbeing would be advantageous.
  • Can communicate and work well with a wide range of people, and able to negotiate and network effectively internally and externally.
  • A good understanding of e-commerce in the North American and / or Australian markets.
