Our client in London is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Business Analyst.
This will be a 9 month position which may be extended.
The main function of a business analyst is to assist in business planning and resource management activities for the sales organisation, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level.
Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget.
The business analyst usually reports to a project manager or director.
Execute analysis around revenue performance, product adoption and market trends using internal and external dashboards
Extract key business insights and articulate recommendations from data analysis
Support ad hoc business analysis and data requests
Collaborate with cross-functional and sales stakeholders to embed recommendations into day to day business
Manage KPI tracking for resource management and attainment of organisational goals
Identify opportunities for efficiency and initiate create improved processes and approaches to the business
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and consumer focused value chains.
Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.
Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
