Toprovide high quality Family Time sessions in appropriate environments achievingpositive outcomes for Looked After Children and their families.
The roledelivers services flexibly in a variety of settings, undertaking interventionsto contribute to the overall assessment held by Children and Families socialcare teams.
Working with Vulnerable families with complex needs to empower themto develop their parenting skills, improve the quality of family interactions,preventing family breakdown and supporting rehabilitation plans.
Youwill contribute to the protection of children and be able to identify and actupon risk of danger, harm and abuse. You will be able to communicate the planning,delivery and outcomes of Family Time and direct work, verbally, within casenotes and recording systems.
You will deliver interventions, promoting positiveoutcomes for children and families, preventing family breakdown and supportrehabilitation plans.
You will have good organisational skills to effectivelymanage your case load, using agreed systems, rotas and calendars.
You will beable to develop effective working relationships with parents, children andcolleagues, sharing difficult complex and sensitive issues.
Wewill ensure you are supported through regular 1-1 supervision, informal supervision,and team meetings, ensuring we share knowledge and skills and celebrate oursuccesses.
