Home Instead Senior Care is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people.
With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide.
Here at Home Instead Salford, we think everyone should get to finish their day in the way they want too, whether that be a cup of cocoa and a chat, or with some assistance into bed and a hot water bottle.
When you become a CAREGiver, that's just one of the small ways you can make a difference to an elderly person's life.
This role is for a Female CAREGiver only, to work between the hours of 4.30pm and 9.30pm.
Our evening CAREGiver's are quite often the last person our Clients see in the day, so you have to be a cheerful, kind, caring person, willing to help your Client with tasks such as assisting them to make their tea, getting undressed, administering medication, and just a good conversation.
We can then leave Clients to have a good sleep, in a secure, safe environment.
The relationship between a CAREGiver and Client is a special bond, we spend time to match each and every one of you to make sure you will get on well.
We want our Clients to be happy, and the best way to achieve that is by providing them with a CAREGiver they trust and like.
This role isn't for everyone, this is for the special individuals who get joy from helping others, and want to start their Career in Care.
No formal qualifications are required for this role. The only qualifications you will need are a smile, a kind, caring nature and be willing to help people in your local community.
However, you will be expected to participate in regular training courses and have availability to work alternative weekends, this keeps it fair for everyone on the team.
The hours of work at weekends are between 8am and 9.30pm, with flexible shifts available.
