Job Description as Forklift Driver with Stork :

Responsible for Forklift operations within the Base Facility assisting with movement of materials and equipment.

Tasks and Responsibilities as Forklift Driver :

Allocated Responsibilities

  • Safe and timely movements of all forklift operations
  • Safe and timely delivery of equipment and items to and from Suppliers and Clients.
  • Primarily responsible with the loading and unloading of deliveries / collections.
  • Assist with the packaging and containerization of materials and equipment.
  • Assist with the emptying of returned containers of equipment and materials.
  • Assist with basic plant maintenance.
  • Assist with waste management activities.
  • Primarily responsible for the day-to-day orderliness and tidiness of the Base Facility yard and warehouses.
  • Actively promote key company behaviors.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe place of work
  • Departmental Responsibilities

  • Adhere to departmental procedures and processes.
  • Complete all other assigned duties requested by Departmental Manager or Supervisor.
  • HSEQ
  • Attend & contribute to health and safety training and briefs.
  • Assist in maintaining own and others’ health and safety.
  • Contribute to a culture of HSEQ improvement.
  • Support quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute work safely and reliably and to a quality standard.
  • Ensure you are adequately trained to carry out the job.
  • Ensure you are aware of Driver / Maintenance procedure 19.0-PR-029-3.0.
  • Ad hoc Responsibilities

  • Assist with yard operative duties in the Base Facility as and when required.

    Specific Requirements for Forklift Driver :


  • Forklift Experience 15Ton
  • Effective team working skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure.
  • Additional Requirements

  • Drivers licence required Yes
