Our client is both a private developer and a specialist design & build HA contractor who has had solid and uncompromised success over the last 5 years and is looking to continue this growth and development by adding to an already thriving team.
They currently have a group turnover of circa £80 million and have a 2-year growth plan in place to increase this, my client boasts roughly 50 members of staff with projects covering all quadrants of the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties, ranging from a collection of large 4-
bedroom family homes in Oxfordshire, to a block of apartments in the West Midlands.
About the opportunity :
My client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the existing Commercial team of 4. You will be expected to manage the full project cost control, from early stage sub-
contract procurement to final accounts. Initially, taking on the commercial management of up to 2 live traditional projects across the midlands region totalling around 100 units.
You will be expected to be self-sufficient and manage your own workload whilst also training and mentoring other lower level staff within the team.

About the benefits and rewards :
A basic salary of up to £65k per annum plus bonus and company benefits.
About the requirements :
You must have at least 10 years Quantity Surveying experience with good knowledge of design and build and some timber frame residential projects.
Some management / delegation experience would be preferable.
