Temporary Administrator (approx. 6 months)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join our Site Support Department (part of our Group Procurement team) based at Sceptre House in Bamber Bridge, Preston on a temporary basis .
Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day administration of plant and material related transactions and activities working across a number of Group businesses, liaising with suppliers and site teams to deliver a managed procurement process for material purchases and plant hire.

The candidate :
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and have worked in a busy and thriving environment. It would be beneficial if you have had previous experience working in the Construction Industry, ideally in a similar role.
You will be proactive and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, regularly re-prioritising workloads to meet the needs of the business whilst delivering excellent service with accuracy and attention to detail.
It goes without saying that you will have excellent communication skills both oral and enjoy building relationships with internal and external suppliers and Stakeholders.
You will have exceptional IT skills in particular Word, Excel and Outlook and ideally experience of ERP systems.
