Do you have experience of working with vulnerable and challenging children and young people? We need a monitoring and support officer to liaise between children, families and alternative education provision settings for pupils who have been permanently excluded from mainstream school.
This is a county wide post and requires lone working. You will be part of a small team that ensures that appropriate educational provision is put in place, that children are attending regularly, achieving their learning targets and are being adequately safeguarded.
You will be required to attend Child in Need and Child Protection Meetings when necessary. You will need skills in partnership working, relationship building, mediation and the ability to contribute positively in challenging circumstances.
