Our commitment in the area has created an outstanding opportunity for a Local Distribution Manager to take responsibility for our Scottish region.

Based in Bargeddie and reporting to the Regional Distribution Manager (North) the successful candidate will manage all activities in the Redistribution Centre, as well distribution activity in Motherwell and Aberdeen.

The role

  • Day to day management of the Bargeddie Facility, providing operational, quality and EHS leadership in accordance with all safety, quality and service standards applicable within our Sub-Region Industrial Gases organisation.
  • Overseeing all Regional Distribution activity in Scotland, including regional supervision of drivers in our Liquid Bulk, CryoEase and Packaged Gases divisions.
  • Managing resources, compliance, safety and cost control
  • Managing relationships with other stakeholders in the business, including the Asset Management Team, Customer Services, Scheduling, Safety and Quality Teams.
  • What we’ll be looking for

  • Evidence of success in a similar management role involving diverse teams in multi-site operations
  • A background in logistics, warehousing or transport.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
