An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to provide support to the Regional Procurement Programme.
You will work closely with dynamic and enthusiastic professionals who are committed to making a difference in improving the way procurement services are delivered across Health Boards in the East and North of Scotland.
The Project Manager will provide project management services for specific projects and / or work streams within this programme.
The post will influence and drive forward change which will deliver significant improvements through efficiencies and best practice.
You will successfully develop and manage plans risks and project resources. Stakeholder engagement will be the key to effective delivery of projects and anticipated benefits.
High levels of communication project and change management skills are necessary to perform this role effectively. The Programme makes extensive use of virtual working tools but you must also be able to travel across the East and North Health Boards as required.
You will also be required to attend weekly meetings in the NHS Lothian office in the centre of Edinburgh. You will be employed by or seconded to NHS Lothian Sustainability and Value team (also referred to as Efficiency and Productivity team) with an opportunity to be based within any of the following Health Boards : NHS Borders NHS Fife NHS Forth Valley NHS Lothian NHS Tayside NHS Grampian NHS Highland?
NHS Orkney NHS Shetland and NHS Western Isles.
