We are mid-way through an exciting 2 year digital Workwise’ programme to compliment the wide range of services we offer our residents.

One of the key features of our digital programme is an online portal, developed on Microsoft’s Azure platform, to enable residents to self-serve by accessing a range of online services anywhere, anytime.

The Senior DevOps Engineer Opportunity :

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing development team who will contribute to the continued success of our products and technical solutions.

You will design, develop and in some cases own the automated deployment, maintenance and monitoring of our SaaS products, using your experience to achieve this within optimal cost.

Working with our Development Teams, within a Scrum framework, you will design and implement robust procedures for deployment to internal and external environments to minimise downtime and proactively address information security risks through principles of shared responsibility across our Microsoft Azure platform.

About you : Essential Skills :

Essential Skills :

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer working on Microsoft Azure (VSTS)
  • Experience with developing and maintaining applications written for Azure services
  • Programming language experience using PowerShell and C#
  • Experience with continuous deployment / continuous delivery using Jenkins.
  • Desirable Skills :

  • Using Confluence to manage project documentation
  • Using Jira to manage assigned tasks, sprints and backlogs
  • Domain driven development
  • Working within an Agile and Scrum team
  • Working in / delivering within the Prince 2 project management methodology
  • Networking experience within complex environments using application load balancing, routing, switching, DNS, network firewalls, and web application firewalls.
