to join a school as a Teaching Assistant!

What is the Future Teachers Programme?

  • The successful graduate will be given the opportunity to become a Teaching Assistant for the remainder of the academic year to gain a variety of classroom and teaching based experience!
  • Working at our fantastic partner secondary school in Wigan (close to the Golborne area)
  • January 2020 to July 2020 Mon to Fri 9am-3pm
  • Paid

    experience earning GBP1140 a month

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who wants to gain practical experience as a Teaching Assistant to help decide if teaching is the career for you or to support a future PGCE application!

    As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will :

  • Work closely with identified pupils in small groups and on a 1 : 1, providing support and tuition to utilise your degree subject knowledge to raise pupil attainment
  • Assist lesson and activity planning alongside teachers to upskill you in this area
  • Opportunity to cover lessons for teachers with pre-set work to gain classroom and behaviour management skills
