About the Role :
Due to some key contract wins within the major projects division as well as an increase in workload on existing projects our client currently have several exciting opportunities within the commercial team.
A key role within the commercial team, our client is seeking an experienced hands-on Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a brand new major regeneration scheme in Kent which will deliver circa 2,500 units at a value of up to £900 million.
Initially, you will be based in my client’s head office looking at setting up phases 1 & 2 consisting of 500 units before be based on site once up and running.
This particular scheme has at least 15 more years’ worth of construction left and will allow you to have real stability in your role moving forward.
With the region having such a good reputation with councils and local authorities they have now secured additional sites in East London & Eastern Home Counties that will take their overall output to circa 7000 new homes over the next 15 years.
Although the numbers of units and size of the sites are some of the largest in industry, our client have still managed to keep a family feel’ across the business, making sure all sectors and business units are fluid and work together to achieve common goals.
Candidate Requirements :
My client are ideally looking for an established Senior Quantity Surveyor who has ambition to progress as the project grows.
You must have experience within the housebuilding sector, preferably within multi-phased regeneration projects. You must have a steady employment history and have some knowledge on working in partnership with Housing Associations and Local Authorities.
About the Benefits and Reward :
My client are looking to pay up to around £78,000 plus a generous benefits package. The package includes a car allowance of circa £6,000, 20% bonus, healthcare, and pension.
